Shipping Policy

Thank you for your interest in Anthony’s Espresso Equipment Inc. Our stores are located in Toronto, Ontario, Canada. Online orders for shipping or delivery are processed on business days, with orders placed on weekends or holidays processed on the next business day.


Shipping Options Available

1) Free In-Store Pickup

Free pickup is available for any online order, regardless of order value, at both our Toronto and Woodbridge locations (pending stock availability). Please wait for your Ready-for-Pickup email before arriving at the store.

On business days, orders are typically ready within one business day. If you require same-day pickup, we recommend calling the store in advance to confirm availability.

Contactless pickup is available upon request. Please include this request in your order notes or contact the store directly.

Important:
Certain orders, including espresso machines and equipment, require photo ID and/or the credit card used for purchase at the time of pickup. This helps prevent fraud and ensures the correct order is released.


2) Free Shipping in Canada (Orders $79 and Up)

We offer free shipping across Canada on orders over $79 (excluding remote areas listed below). Shipping carriers may include Canada Post, UPS, Purolator, or FedEx, depending on location and shipment timing.

For remote locations, a delivery surcharge may apply. If applicable, we will contact you before shipment to confirm any additional costs.


3) Flat-Rate Shipping in Canada (Orders Under $79)

Orders under $79 are subject to a flat shipping fee of $14.95 + tax.

Orders placed after 1:00 p.m., on weekends, or on holidays are processed within 2–3 business days. If there is a delay or issue with your order, we will contact you within one business day.


4) U.S. Shipments

All U.S. shipments may be subject to import duties, taxes, and brokerage fees determined by the carrier. These fees are not included in the order total and are the responsibility of the recipient.


Insurance & Signature Requirements

All shipments are insured against damage or loss during transit. Orders with a declared value over $300 require a signature upon delivery to help prevent theft.

Insurance coverage applies to loss or damage occurring during transit only and does not extend beyond confirmed delivery.


Delivery Confirmation & Stolen Packages

Once an order has shipped, responsibility for the package transfers to the delivery carrier. Delivery is considered complete when the carrier confirms the shipment as delivered to the address provided at checkout.

Anthony’s Espresso is not responsible for lost or stolen packages once delivery has been confirmed by the carrier.

If a signature requirement is waived at the customer’s request, Anthony’s Espresso cannot be held responsible for packages that are lost or stolen after delivery.

If you believe your package was misdelivered, please contact us as soon as possible. We will assist in opening a carrier investigation when applicable; however, replacement or refund is not guaranteed once delivery is confirmed.


Machine Pickup & Drop-Off Services

A delivery charge applies to machine pickup or drop-off services and is non-refundable. Scheduling will be coordinated with you in advance.

If no one is available during the scheduled service window, the delivery charge will not be refunded.

If a machine requires service within 90 days due to an issue caused by Anthony’s Espresso, we will cover the cost of pickup or drop-off.

Important preparation note:
Please ensure all water tanks and drip trays are emptied before pickup to avoid spills during transport. Our drivers are not licensed technicians and cannot test or inspect machines on-site.


Remote Areas

Certain postal codes are considered remote by shipping carriers and may be subject to delivery surcharges. If your address falls within a remote service area, we will contact you before shipment to confirm additional costs.
